The Başköy Regulator and HPP Project within KC Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. is located on the side branch of Araç creek in Başköy locality, Araç district of Kastamonu province, and is currently under construction. Our facility has an installed capacity of 4.25 MW and is expected to produce 12 GWh of electricity upon completion.
Using the potential energy of water, the clean energy to be produced will contribute to carbon emission reduction during the operational period. Our facility, which will be a source of employment for many people both during installation and operation, will be set up with over 100 jobs provided by 5 partner companies and will provide continuous employment for 10 people during the operational phase.
